This was only my 2nd Thai experience since moving to Michigan. The 1st trip (Different restaurant) didn't go that, I asked for Mild and got something straight from the pits of hell. This time I order Pineapple fried rice with Chicken and once again requested MILD and it was great! I might be back! Oh but wait, I did go back twice the same day, another co-worker wanted to take me out to lunch and drove me right back to the same place!
I ate here twice while visiting the area. Ordered the fresh rolls, which are basically spring rolls. They were unbelievably good! Typically restaurants just give you a peanut dipping sauce, but this place gave a ginger peanut homemade tasting sauce and it was amazing! I also ordered drunken noodles. I have had better, but it was still worth going back a second time and it was only $10 for a large plate, so I was able to make two meals out of it. I highly recommend for excellent flavors, value, and quick service!
The food is good and very inexpensive. I would not count it as top-of-the line Thai, but for the price it is outstanding. I asked about their heat levels, for which I was told they had three and I chose the middle level. Even then, it was not really spicy. The Tom Yum was good. The garlic stir fry seemed to just be garlic, onions and meat. I was expecting a little more.
Clean tables, good Service and flavor "full" hot (& spicy) food, Service was quick. Helpful in picking food. Had a few co-workers that never tried Thai and enjoyed the flavorful dishes. Food came out fast and ready. If you like spice - recommend to go Medium heat. King and I was a good dish. Siam Chicken was a safe bet for the new guys. Thai tea was good. Website helped with what to pick before going. Get there early to ensure you get a table. Fills up fast at lunch. Car pool if you can - Parking is tight. We parked in lot next to them and walked over because there was no open spaces.
