Ham Center Restaurant

I have eaten here a dozen times or so, almost always for breakfast. The staff is friendly and the breakfast dishes classic. The ham is good, if nothing exceptional. I advise that you get it instead of bacon or other breakfast meat. A serving is large, enough for two people. This is a classic small American diner with a dozen or so booths and six or eight tables. It is just south of 12 Mile on the West side of Van Dyke.

First time going here, my buddy Steve has been telling me about this place for years and he finally took me for lunch today....

The wait staff is the best, very friendly and always smiling and joyful, I loved the big ham sandwich that they recommended to me.....

Got a ham sandwich with some chicken soup.

The ham was delicious as expected, but I was also pleasantly surprised at how tasty the chicken soup was.

Generally at most restaurants you can tell it's canned chicken soup, but this had a more homemade taste to it which you rarely see.

Great service also, 10/10 would eat here again.

Great Ruben sandwich and fries. Small cozy restaurant, nothing fancy. Friendly staff, good food. This was my second time eating here. Most meals are $7 to $10, and portions are generous. They have several homemade soups everyday. As you would expect from there name, they have numerous ham dishes.
