(July 21, 2019, 3:44 pm)Manistee has a great little place called the A&W it reminds me of my past as a child and and going as a family for our weekly treat. The daily specials are great very filling you really can't go wrong here their onion rings are out of this world but their special sauce. And their root beer is still served in a frosty mug and when you get there don't be surprised of the line but it's worth the wait.

(July 3, 2019, 10:19 pm)This place is always super busy during the summer, & for good reason...Its AMAZING! Rootbeer is tasty, and the burgers are on point! Some of the younger staff can be rude, but the oldies that have always been there will greet you with a smile :)

(April 20, 2019, 11:16 am)The A & W is an alternative fast food place. The root beer is the draw. But the food is good and inexpensive. Although it is the traditional order at the counter, wait, then seat yourself, the food is freshly made hot. There is a drive through. For travelers, this is a good take a break stop.
