The servers are always great, friendly, and on top of things, the food couldn't be better it's so good every single time. Fish fry ferocious, breakfasts beautiful, highly recommend. Although, it is busy as heck almost all the time so be prepared for that.
Great service, great food for a great price. Recommend for those in the Ishpeming area.
I didn’t have anything that was homemade so the food was only average. It was hot, prepared correctly and tasted like one would expect. It was nothing special and the roll was a little dry. Service was outstanding- fast, friendly and efficient. Our server checked on us but didn’t hover or forget about us. Definitely has the mom and pop restaurant vibe going on which I really liked, but it wasn’t as homey as it could have been. Parking is easy and it is located just off the highway, far enough to dampen the traffic noise but close enough to make it convenient to stop when you’re on the move. Definitely worth the visit, I’d like to try something homemade; I should’ve thought about that when I was ordering.
Absolutely the best breakfast we've ever had. Definitely hidden gem. We drove out to West Ishpeming from lakeside Marquette at least once a week. It's just that good.
Driving back from the Copper Harbor area and to the airport there weren't many restaurants open, but we were happy to find Sherrie's Restaurant. Sherrie, our waitress, was super nice. Cheese curds, jalapeno popper burger, philly cheese steak, banana pie, and chocolate peanut balls. It seems like a locals favorite and it was what we needed for the long road trip ahead.
