Maru Sushi & Grill

Excellent service, decadent food, reasonable prices, and comfortable atmosphere. They serve salads, soup, sushi, and hibachi. There's an array of lunch specials and even happy hour specials. We'll worth a trip whether you are just visiting or whether you are from the area.

We ate dinner here 8/13/19 @ 6pm it wasn't exceptionally busy with approximately 1/3 or more tables available.
Service was very slow. It took almost 10 minutes to get water so we put our order in at the same time.
Another 30 minutes to get 4 rolls, 4 overpriced rolls. They were good rolls just overpriced. Maru isn't my go to for sushi but it was a last minute decision and I didn't have time to go see my peeps at Hello.
The service and the prices will keep me away.
If you go I hope you have a better experience...

We went for dinner on a Wednesday. We were told to wait while they cleaned a table though half the restaurant was empty. It took just a minute though. But the seat I sat in was still dirty. Quickly wiped off. Our server was friendly and patient while we made out decision. We ordered several rolls of sushi. All were amazing! Waiter checked on us throughout the meal and was quick bringing us anything else we needed. Went for a birthday and received a complimentary dessert. Everything was delicious. Some of the best sushi we've ever had!! So despite the seat not being cleaned when we got to the table. The food definitely made up for it and we will definitely be back!

Our server was really knowledgeable and understood what sounded good to us. We tried different things, enjoyed everything, and even had dessert. The chocolate creme brulee was delicious! Would highly recommend for those coming into Midland. This was an enjoyable impromptu date night for us that was much needed.
