Not a big place, and spartan on the comfort and decor. Waited a bit long for the food, which was good, no question. Balances out to a 3. Give them a chance, as I will be giving other restaurants in the area a chance too.
They are not shy with their portions.
The bacon jalapeno cheddar bread was at least 12" in diameter with a heaping bowl of ranch. Delicious spices on this cheesy bread.
The Greek salad full order was enough for a full meal and then some. Dressing comes on the side, and it comes with pita bread.
Meatballs were really hard, couldn't be sliced with a fork, and the flavor was nothing to call home about. The tomato sauce was... Ok.
Parking is pretty easy and it's near a lot of small markets and shops, so it's a good place to visit and take a stroll around the town.
I had a black bean burger, minus the bun..I liked the burger plus I got the homemade chips, my drink was unsweetened ice tea. We went on a Sunday and there was a farmer's market going on. Really nice plus behind the building is parking..it's on the river, a really nice place to sit and enjoy the view. I will go back, if it's a nice day out I'm going to get my food to go and sit by the river in the gazebo. ????
We often order from Rivers Edge when we're at the Old Mill Museum, another great Dundee gem. The Chicago Style pizza is great! The garlic puffs to die for. I can't speak to much else, since we always order those.
They do have an apps you can order on through your phone. Unfortunately they don't deliver, but it gives you a chance to check out beautiful Dundee.
The building is small, so getting in on peak days/hours can be a wait, but worth it. We always just take out.
The garlic knots are amazing and the Chicago style pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. Their pizza sauce is awesome. My friend and I drove an hour and a half just to eat here. This is definitely a great place and I highly recommend it! I will definitely be stopping here again.
