Food was good but some items they no longer carry. They stated some were due to supplier's price increases. Pretty good size portions but prices are a little high.
Some of the locals can be annoying as they treat it like a towny bar and ride golf carts up to get drunk but good staff. Place could use a little more TLC in the clean and comfy department.
Turtle soup was good but like I said some seafood items are no longer available.
Response to new owners:
Older, white female waitress was who told some items were not available. In fact they were crossed out on paper menu we were given. But this was posted like 8 months ago so I'm guessing you took over after my visit.
Dinner, service and ambiance are all really wonderful!! Good job to all tonight!! My companion and I both had onion rings appetizer and perch dinners with baked potato. Delicious! !
Our first visit here, and we can't wait to go back. You can sit on the side with a bar atmosphere, or on the other side that is a more formal dining environment. Food was fresh and satisfying - we ordered simply. Chicken chunks are made of actual chicken with the slightest breading, loaded fries with chili and cheese, and a burger. They weren't heavy, but were tasteful yet filling. It's a great environment with the friendliest of staff. Great for a quick bite or for gathering with friends.
The food was always good. The new owners have cleaned and made many renovations to the building. The previous appearance of the building was the only complaint I had. They've added some new items to the menu, I recently tried the wings and thought they were good. I hope there will be a wing night in the future..good job ladies!
