Dena's Family Restaurant

Surprising place. The menu didn't look all that interesting, and the building is outdated. But everything we ate was excellent. Lots of homemade items. Especially loved the potato soup (chowder?). Great prices too.

We had a very pleasant experience! The service staff was quick and friendly, the food came out exactly as we ordered it, and prices were extremely reasonable. We stopped here on a Thursday afternoon, which meant not a lot of dining room patrons, but that was nice! Family friendly diner atmosphere with a menu choice for everyone, a dessert display case, and a Greek flair. I ordered the stuffed French toast - pictured with this review - it was delicious, although extremely sweet. The fresh strawberries were good and helped to cut the cream cheese frosting type filling. The coffee however, was the best restaurant coffee I have had in a very very long time. 3/4 of us at the table had multiple cups. I would not order the potato pancakes another time, they reminded me a little bit of McDonald's hashbrowns which was not necessarily bad at all, just not what I was picturing when we ordered potato pancakes. Overall very solid experience and satisfying food!

Denas diner is a lovely place to go, I visit every friday very early in the morning. Generally right when they open. You get loads of food that is very yummy for a very cheap price. My favorite meal to get tends to vary between the stuffed French toast, to the country fried steak. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes me think of a modernized grandma; homey, yet not smothering.
If you want delicious, well made food for a good price, this is the place to go.

Absolutely wow! Just absolutely wow. Dena added her restaurant on Uber eats. hands down one of the best meals. The steak was so tender, perfectly cooked, and one of the best steaks I’ve had. As for customer service there needs to be more than just 5 stars. Dena personally called me to clarify my order and went above and beyond more than any other restaurant. The food is also something to brag about. I have not one negative thing to say !
