El-Maguey II

Great Mexican food. We go there often, and the prices are good. It's A family owned place. The service is always good and they keep the chips and salsa coming. Free parking and good handicap spots. I like the fajitas and steak Asad. Some Mexican desserts and cookies.

Me and my family love this place. The best Mexican food around. If you want a good meal at a very reasonable price go check it out. Its deffiently a hiding jem in Monroe co.

First time eating at El-Maquey ll at the recommendation of a friend at work. Service was excellent, and food was very good. Wife had the fried taco but it was hard and dry. Let me explain, our usual fried taco is hot from the oil dip so this was different, not bad, just different. Our waitress suggested the combo plate for me and I bumped up from beans to chunky beef. Very good! The White dipping cheese was smaller than what I was used to but had great flavor. The prices are overall a little cheaper but not by alot. It is the melding of good food at a good price that brings families like ours back for return business. Nothing for sure on the date they will be moving to North Dixie north of Kroger, but they're trying for June 1st. Casual family dress with no stares if coming off blue collar work to grab a bite or pick up from the reasonable take out. We will be back!
