“Stopped for dinner with a friend who had never eaten here. We both had the Friday Fish Special. The entire meal was fantastic. My friend was so pleased with his he told the waitress that he would be back. We both live in Alma, Michigan it is well worth the drive. The entire restaurant is very well decorated, you have this feeling that you are in a Lodge deep in the woods, including deer antler chandelier. The service was totally outstanding with a waitress who had an amazing personality who really made us feel welcome just like family. If you are in the area or looking for an amazing place to eat by all means you will be glad you stopped in or made the trip.”

“The store was clean inside and out including the bathroom and it was handicapped accessible which is nice because I am disabled. The food was pretty good and it was pretty fresh. The staff had a few issues. When we came in, the cashier walked away, then a manager came up and said it would be a minute, she had to go get change. When the cashier finally came, he was not as friendly as should be, we were the only people there yet it seemed like the staff was to busy in the back to want to take care of customers.”

“Clifford Lake Inn was the perfect place for my wedding. The staff were very attentive, but never in the way. I loved the way they set up the room and open to changes. The wedding was arranged in less than a month. They were quick to respond to all of my questions and plans in an efficient and courteous manner. The inside and outside were beautiful backgrounds for photos. The food was delicious, fast, and warm when given to the group. I would highly recommend this establishment for a wedding venue!!”

“Very nice newly built restaurant with modern appeal. Very clean as you would expect given the age of the building. The clerk at the front counter was very nice and my order was up quickly and was accurate. I have used the drive thru here as well and the line moves quickly and my order has always been correct. You must ask for ketchup but it is given freely and I received an ample amount. A great McDonald's!”

But tonight we order online, go in to pick up and it's so cold I asked her when it was made she told me 15 minutes ago, then I asked the other gal at the desk was it on the warmer she said yes even know I never seen it on warmer when I walked in. I think I'm more upset that both these employees, one being a manager lied to me then me having to wait for them to remake my order. I mean it's so simple to just make your customer happy not be rude and lie.”

Both the standard fries (Seasoned), or as an appetizer with the garlic and Parmesan cheese, they are incredible! They have specials, I think every day. Tuesday all day is Taco Tuesday, offering $1 Tacos that are great and very large, especially for $1. Saturday night they have a prime rib special that is awesome. They offer a kids menu and my kids love the place. Outdoor seating is available right on the lake (Weather permitting). Well worth even an hours plus drive. A true gem for the area.”
