New barbecue place in town. Food is great! Got two different things on two different visits both times I wasn't disappointed. They don't lie about the spices though, the hot sauce is for real! I liked the pulled pork and the chicken. Side note, the place is actually owned by Dr. Rolf so the name isn't totally a gimmick. Food is good! Eat here!

First time visit did not disappoint. Smoked meats were tasty and not dried out. Good choice of sauces. I had the Mac n cheese very good and baked beans that were like homemade. Dining area is small hopefully they can expand eventually. Eager to go back and try out the nachos. Thanks.

The food at Dr. Rolf's was absolutely phenomenal! Had the three meat platter that comes with your choice of two sides and a cornbread waffle. The brisket was not only tender but moist, unlike so many places where it's dried out. The ribs were great and the choices of barbecue sauces are interesting and delicious. The jalapeno sausage was perfectly cooked, perfectly spicy and again super moist. Most other places you can't even eat the skin on their sausage it's so dry and tough. Our server not only had a great personality but was very knowledgeable about the the food and menu. While the building is small in size and you may have to wait to get seated, the flavor of the food is huge! The butter beans with bacon bring me back to my childhood, the macaroni and cheese is heavenly, and although different with a subtle sweetness the collard greens are so yummy. Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu including the amazing sounding waffle desserts!

We liked everything we tried. The brisket sandwich, pulled pork, brisket, & chicken breast were all good. For sides we tried sweet potato mash (good but maybe a little too sweet for my taste), butter beans, tater tots, and coleslaw (spicy but good). We especially enjoyed the cornbread waffles! The regular and peach & apricot bbq sauces were very good, also. Lots of great choices so we'll be back to more!

The food was excellent. The brisket was excellent. The smoked chicken was good but maybe not on par with the brisket. I tried a little of the pulled pork and that was very good too. The corn bread waffles were very good and the sweet potato mash was outstanding.

The resteraunt was busy, crowded and noisy. Our waitress was was not very good but from what I could tell the others were fine. The only real negative was everyone at agreed that the coleslaw was the worst we had ever tasted.

Overall I will definitely go back. I can't wait to try some of the other items.
