The Lake House Waterfront Grille and Event Center

When we can't get to Florida or Hawaii, we go to The Lake House Restaurant in Muskegon, MI. This is the best destination Restaurant we know in Michigan. It is right on Muskegon Lake, has amazing sunsets, service, food, drinks and friendliness. The Management and Staff make you feel like part of the family, while Head Chef Andrew Sprite, Chefs Wes and Allen all
create the most delectable meals to give you a taste sensation. In Michigan? or on Staycation?, make it a point to visit The Lake House in Muskegon. Best food, Service and Sunsets. You will be amazed!

What a great place! I was reluctant at first because of past experiences with higher priced restaurants with small portions. Ya know, the kind where your wallet is lighter and you have to go get a burger to fill your stomach. The portions were great, food was excellent and service was marvelous. Our server was Sommer and though we came in without reservations and the table we were given was reserved in an hour and a half, there was no pressure to move us through. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great ambiance and wait staff! We've had good food there many times before, but lately the food has been hastily prepared and the taste/quality has suffered. Had the Truffle Fries and we could not eat them they were so salty (we'll usually suffer through a bad dish), and the Poke Power bowl which was basically a soggy mess. Great place, hoping the last two times aren't a pattern.

Awesome Server's ....Beautiful flowers and view of the lake...... Loved the food.... Ill be back very soon !!!

My first visit there, Sunday afternoon, seating availability was moderate.
Unfortunately, after being seated it took us asking for server after about 15 minutes of waiting.
After someone arrived, our order of duo nachos was subpar, it wasn't as fresh as expected along with the chips.
The Michigan cherry chicken sandwich, failed to meet the menu listing, sweet potato fries were wonderful, but could use less sugar coating.
The grilled peach salad was presented well, but it's pricey.
Overall, it wasn't a horrible visit. Just needs more attention to details.

A great choice for a dinner date. This place does an incredible job with it's staff and it's service. They make you feel welcome and are so very professional. We'll run and clean. You cannot beat the atmosphere and view at sunset! Thank you Lake House!
