“I recently had the opportunity to go back to Michigan just to relax and recapture memories from my home state with family. I had one night open on my own and searched from someplace new. I found White Swan Inn had a small room available in the Muskegon area. The site was very simple to reserve. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Ron who gave me a tour of their elegant 1884 home. It didn't take long for me to see Ron's pride in the craftsmanship of this landmark building. As a fellow woodworker, we connected and delved into more details of the structure and furnishings that are well preserved. I soon met Cathy who continued, and with my peaked interest, the history for this wonderful inn. The original and updated nuances of this inn are awesome. This will be a treasured for this trip. I look forward to coming back at different seasons, but the Christmas decorations were great! Thank you, Cathy and Ron!”

“First time eating at Brunch House. We're had a little wait, maybe 20 minutes, but that seems to be typical in this area so it really wasn't that bad. The food was very good and quick for how crowded they were. The prices were good. They do serve alcohol for those who want it. Not sure what variety they have. I think we will be back. We want to try a lot of different places because we're new to the area. Seems to be the norm here is the early closing time, this place closes at 3pm. I think this is a sister place to Mr B's as it had the name on the bottom of their sign on the inside. Is a very clean place too, a more modern look then the other places we've been. A great place to eat and try if you haven't yet.”

“Lombardo's is the former 750 grill. Newly renovated and with a new owner and menu, it's a great place to dine . The bar area offers many TV s to watch the game . The menu has many tasty dishes including a HUGE stromboli and a scrumptious shrimp pasta. All portions are large reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and service is fast. The sister restaurant is a take out pizza place on the other side of town. So, the pizza is also a winner ! I suggest that you check out Lombardo's soon !”

Party started with the Popper Dip and Tin Can Nachos. Both were excellent. The Popper dip had a nice kick and the nachos (with pulled brisket) is amazing! All burgers looked great; Conspiracy burger was a big hit at the table (pulled bacon was amazing!!) Southwest salad was good (even without the corn bean salsa) - jalapeno ranch was great. French fries were also very good. Not your traditional fries... Everything tasted fresh. We would definitely come back to try other items!! Reasonably priced...family friendly. Check it out!!”

“We had the perch dinner which has always been a great meal and still is. We are still working through the changes that the new owners have made- baked potatoes and American fries are no longer a choice with the meal and there is a $3 charge for the weekend salad bar which previously came with the meal and rolls are no longer a part of the meal. Although there were open tables when we arrived, we waited about 5-10 minutes for a table for 2. I have always loved the Inn's bloody mary drinks but this time the drink didn't taste the same. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks and another 15 for our food. I gave 4 stars instead of 3 because the perch is still the best in the area.”
