Chinook Campground

I liked going there with my friend. But there wasnt a spot to get to the river so we went through the woods

Great little place! We had a surprise birthday party at one of the buildings and it was great! Bathrooms were clean and everyone was very nice and helpful? The campground was almost full and everyone had only positive things to say!

Really great campground! So much fun to float down the Muskegon river and end at the campground. The shuttle and tube rental is definitely worth the money. We ordered pizza when we got off the river and had it delivered to our campsite- so nice when everyone is tired and just wants to relax the rest of the day! The owners are very welcoming and easy to talk to.

We have been going to Chinook for years for our annual tubing weekend. We have always enjoyed it as it has been reasonably priced and the restroom was clean. This year, not so much. We come with a group and tent camp with no water or electric. The prices have gone up a lot if you don't stay for 2 nights. $18 for just one night instead of $12 seems a bit steep when we are already using the camp site. The cost for transporting our own floats is a bit high as well at $11 per float. The bathroom was disgusting!!! I have never seen it like this before. We came in on Friday afternoon and they were already filthy and never got any better. I was grossed out just brushing my teeth. We didn't even use the showers as they were too dirty. On a good note, the owners are super nice and the pizza was very good and our float on the river was great.
