    A new place on the block. Wholesome fresh food served up either inside or out. Being summer there is also ice cream, ice cream and did I mention ice cream. New owners, new attitude, a real good place for a hearty meal.

    I had the hand dipped corn dog which was very good and my husband had the Pirate burger which was delicious and spicy. Family ran place, very friendly!!

    Nice little hotdogs resturant with the nice view close to the lake. Hotdogs were good anyway.

    Amazing, amazing place! My mom brought me here for breakfast when I was in town visiting and I had one of the best plates of "Captain's Choice" Biscuits & Gravy that I've ever had.

    I got a full order (two fluffy biscuits covered in their homemade sausage gravy) and got a very generous portion. The gravy was very chunky and had just enough kick. The biscuits were fresh, too!

    The service was impeccable. Everyone was very nice and personable. Their special that morning was a Lemon Dream French Toast and they even walked around providing samples of the lemon filling.

    There is four tables and a small bartop inside and more seating outside, including a bartop alongside the road so that you can watch traffic while you eat.

    When you arrive, you order at the counter and they'll bring you your order when complete.

    I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again! There's now a reason to head to Croton other than for the water!

    Very very good food and most scratch made. Staff is super friendly, definitely a hidden gem..
