My favorite sushi place so far. They have regular soy sauce. I hate low sodium soy sauce and all my favorite sushi places now only serve it. But, regardless, this sushi is very high quality and very delicious.
Have been in here several times through the years. Today this is just not the best experience. Food is OK to good, but just not the value it was before and the decor is the same as it always has been so the restaurant itself feels dated. The show can be great for the grill table but it is really dependent on the chef. We have had great ones and just average ones.
Something about this is just a bit better from all the other hibachi places I’ve been to. The food is very tasty and the service is really good and fast. The food is never too fatty or has anything in it to complain about. The chefs here are by far the most talented. The tricks they do are definitely much more advanced here. The prices here are pretty much the same as any other hibachi place but I would confidently say that it’s my favorite hibachi place to go to.
Inside Great Lakes Crossing Mall, Miyako is an exciting experience if you like sushi or hibachi grilling. You can sit at the sushi bar or at the grill if you choose to have either experience up close. I can attest to the deliciousness of the sushi. I took a picture but only after we’d eaten most of it. Oops! In my defense, it just proves how good it was and maybe that I was also really hungry.
I ordered sushi during my visit (spicy tuna and Alaskan roll). Soup and salad was served before my sushi, both of which were made very quickly. The restaurant was inviting and had friendly staff. Both the sushi and hibachi menus had fair prices. I'd be happy to visit again and hopefully sit at a grill, as all of them were full with happy guests during my visit.
