El Patio Mexican Restaurant

Just got back from dinner at El Patio...so glad they are finally open. Nice ambiance, pleasant and efficient servers. Food came in a timely manner and was good. Had a #1 combination...two enchiladas, taco and rice. Glad to see the place filling up as I was leaving. Extra bonus...very close to home!

I don't understand the poor reviews. Come on people, the place JUST OPENED 5 days ago! Give them some time to get their #$%& straight! Went on Thursday...and yes had to wait since it was so busy. For some servers, it was there first day and you could tell they were mixed up at times.

All in all, great food, friendly good service considering. I like that they don't cut you off on the chips!

No complaints about anything other than a couple who was trying to cut in line thinking they owned the place...

I was on this side of town and was absolutely starving. I stumbled across this on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I mean, how can I say no to Mexican food?

The place is spacious and well decorated. Plenty of seating throughout and a nice looking menu from what I could tell. I didn't see much in the way of tacos, but they have just about everything else on the menu. I noticed they have some really good looking lunch combos here and the dinner combos look like they give you a ton of food for the price.

I went with the ground beef burrito and the server asked if I wanted rice or beans? Why am I not getting both? What kind of place is this? I chose rice this time around, so there's that. Burrito was good but not as juicy as I had hoped. The meat was good but could have had some extra flavor. Rice was good and everything went fine.

I know they just opened and may not have enough staff, but service was on the slower side. The staff was friendly but it seemed to take forever to give my order, get my bill and get seated. Overall a decent experience and I think I'll come back in the future to try their lunch specials.

Great, quick service & the food was yummy. I got the beef taquitos and I wasn’t disappointed! complimentary chips & salsa is always nice too :) I will be back!

Today was the first day they were open. They were supposed to be open before Cinco de Mayo, but the state Held up approving their Liqueur license. I go out to the location in Troy for years now, but this location is closer to where I work and live. I drive past it every day. On my way to work this morning, I saw that the paper was off the windows, and people were inside cleaning and wiping down tables.
I came here for lunch today, and I ended up getting the Speedy Gonzales. One Taco, One enchilada, and Beans. The food was delicious. The service was excellent, just like the other location.
I didn’t get one for lunch, but one of my favorite things here is their Texas Margarita. While I was there, someone got one and told the waiter that it was delicious.
