Little Lou's Hot Chicken

I'm not a chicken sandwich fanatic, but this place was delicious. The serving size of the Sando was just right. The combination of the medium heat, pickles and coleslaw was fantastic. I would for sure go back and have another sando and try other offerings. Their menu is small, which is nice. Keep it simple and deliver every time.

Ordered the sandwich with fries. The chicken was fried perfectly, crispy exterior but still juicy. Ordered medium spice and could taste the heat but it wasn't spicy enough to build up heat as I ate. Next time I'll try the hot!

I enjoyed the chicken fresh out of the grease and dipped. I chose the "HOT"( I'm very good and very hot I'm almost afraid to try the hottest one)
I also ordered mild chicken wings cowboy beans (excellent), coleslaw (Not bad), and french fries ( horrible) overcooked and dried out. I'm a little stickler on cleanliness and perhaps I came after some rush or something because it looked like all of the tables had crumbs and stuff on them And a piece of bread just was left on the chair 😲🤨. I also tried some of the water and that was in like a kettle for you to have and it was lukewarm not good at all 😖. You can tell it's a new place and that's why I gave them a chance I would recommend them for takeout only but don't forget to grab your plasticware and napkins as they do not come in your bag I found out the hard way when I try to try some of the cowboy beans while driving.

Wonderful fried chicken! The “hot” had a really nice heat. All of the sides are excellent especially the beans & greens. Ask about the market side - today they had a lovely pimento pasta salad. The service is friendly and helpful. Chicken can be fried to order so you may wait, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Little Lou's Hot Chicken just opened up this week in the old Papa's Pizza used to be on the corner of Coolidge and Catalpa, down the street from Berkley H.S.

They serve 5 different types of spices for the chicken sandwiches and tenders: southern, mild, medium, hot and cluck me it's hot!🔥 🥵 🔥

They serve sides that comes with the 3 tender meal which is your choice of crinkle cut fries, jalapeño Mac and cheese, greens, baked beans, cole slaw or potato salad. They also offer half a chicken as well as a salad. All tasty options.

Food was made fresh to order so they're was done wait time involved and everyone working was kind. Generous portions and cooked exactly right. Even the fries were just right. I did takeout but you can dine inside or out as well. Perfect for the upcoming warm weather season. You can't go wrong here.
