Kerby's Koney Island

Great service, awesome prices and good food!

For the "Greek, diner-type food" niche that Kerby's fills, it is perfect. Just perfect. I come to visit Michigan a few times a year and I visiting Kerby's is always one of the highlights. The Koney fries + Greek salad + gyro combination I get each time I come is the stuff dreams are made of. Also, not sure how they do it, but they have the best fountain Diet Coke in the world.

This Kerby's has been a fixture on Woodward for many years and not much has changed. The food is reliable, not great. I love the pita they use for their Yeros sandwiches and the omelets here are terrific. I ordered a small Greek salad with my meal. A ton of lettuce, lots of feta, 1 slice of tomato, one olive and 1/2 of 1 slice of cucumber. The dressing isn't great. Needs more flavor. Also, a server was cashing out, but was counting her tip money in front of diners and no one said anything. Better coney islands around.

Wonderful comfort food. Place was packed and yet they opened up a section just for our party of 17. Gave us great service and kept the refills coming. Generous portions ment we had to box up half to use as lunch tomorrow.

Had a great experience with our server who I'm sad don't have her name. Short blonde hair with a hint of pink in pig tails.
She was on point. Thank you for a great experience. If around the area, I'd definitely go again ????
