Kruse's Deer Lake Inn

The best french fries that I've ever had, the food here is really amazing and a great location. In the past I've been here and they played three very strange songs on repeat for hours and refused to change the music. The lobster shrimp fettuccine is simply amazing.

Food was great. Service fantastic. Small restaurant but went at an off time so got a table right away. Kruse restaurants are always great!

Food was not hot this time. Portion sizes have been reduced and prices seem to have increased. Food still tasted good.
About a year since this original post. Originally a 3 star review. Updated to 5 star. Great improvements and we regularly eat here.

Very pleasantly surprised! The best calamari we've had anywhere, wedge salad was awesome, lobster and shrimp fettuccine was superb! Our server TJ was as good as it gets! Every staff member greeted us. The whole experience was phenomenal. We will be back again and again!

Quaint restaurant with eclectic decor, friendly staff and quiet, comfortable seating. Seems to cater more towards seafood dishes, which I'm not a fan of. The sliders were very small and lacked flavor, except for the char. 2 small sliders and shoestring fries were $11 at lunch. I feel I could get better taste for less money elsewhere. Still a nice place to eat with a good menu variety.
