Old Port Restaurant

Haven't been back since it re-opened as Old Port again. Great renovations and menu. A tad understaffed. My husband's omelette was really thick and had way too much cheese - he didn't finish it. He has never not finished an omelette. My breakfast, on the other hand, was amazing! Pancakes and the best huge sausage links I've had in ages! I'm giving it 4 stars because he could have said something to the server and I'm sure they would have done something. We will go back.

It was our first time since new owner. Food was very good. Louis was exceptional as our waitress. Very warm atmosphere very clean very inviting.all of the beautiful outdoor flowers were welcoming and gorgeous. Planning on going back on a regular basis ????

This place is great for diner/restaurant food. With a great selection and vast menu. Everything I have ever had was good. And you can't beat the prices for the portion sizes. Very freindly and helpful staff. And now (summertime) your walk in and out of the restaurant is beautiful with a multitude of big beautiful plantings of summer flowers. Good job all the way around for this proprietor.

Had dinner there Monday evening, July 8, with my wife and my sister and her husband. None of us are from the area (were attending a funeral in Royal Oak) and just drove by the place after the funeral and it looked interesting, so we turned around and had our meal there. All of us were very, very pleased. Excellent food, very generous portions, and great service. Lois, thank you for brightening up our evening. I had the ham dinner, and I don't remember what anyone else had, but the food was hot and tasty all around. All at surprisingly reasonable prices. And thank you to the owner, who keeps the outside looking so nice, and for your roof-top tribute to us veterans.

I was pleasantly surprised. They have a pretty big menu, I chose the roast beef dinner and it was very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked questions about the food. The portions were large. It seemed like most people were leaving with leftovers for later. I will definitely be back.
