McDonald's

My babies were hungry and they got my order right. Plus this McDonald's no longer puts donut sticks in the fryer and cleaned it up. Now I can have my favorite fries again.

The service was fast, and the food was good. I went around 10:30am on a sunday. But one thing i didn't like was that the staff was talking about going out getting drunk, having a good time. Not for the work place.

Lately they've been doing well with food coming out fairly quickly and very nice and respectful employees overall. Two hiccups however: in the past week they've been unable to fill orders around 10:15 p.m. because of a shift change they said.

Jeez, really?? Couldn't they have several of the basic orders prepared in advance and waiting under a heat lamp? Some burgers and some chicken sandwiches--several of the most popular items, for example? So at least you could get something... I've never heard of this happening at McDonalds.

FYI suburban McDonald's tend to be faster than many inner city Detroit McDonald's, which can take up to 20 minutes to get you a basic order!

This location has greatly improved after a bout of terrible employees 1-2 years ago, who failed 2 times in 2 weeks to even acknowledge me in the second, outermost drive-through line! One time, 2 other vehicles in the inner line pulled up after I did, and were served ahead of me as I honked the horn and waved 2-3 minutes to attract the attention of the order taker! I had to pull up to the payment window to place my order.

One employee said "it's not my job" to notice me in the second, outside line! I complained like hell to management and she was never heard from again. Thank you!

The food was good when I ordered yesterday. The staff was very nice and friendly. The wait time was fairly ok compared to last month visit. The previous staff took a long time to serve.
