RE BBQ

Bob's ribs have ruined all other ribs for me. It's a quirky food truck run by a big personality, with veggies often sourced from the garden growing right on the property. It feels like I'm "in the know" to have stumbled across this spot. Sometimes I grab food here and take it right down the street to Urban Rest and grab a beer or kombucha and eat on site there. This section of Hilton is a gem of Ferndale. I subscribe to Bob's email so I can find out about the weekly special or if the hours have changed. Typically the hours are Thurs, Fri and Sat from 3pm to 7:30pm.

Best BBQ I have had in Michigan hands down. The specials are always different, unique and to die for. If you're planning on eating there, don't forget to bring a beer. BYOB for the win!

Had the special, BBQubano. It was massive and delicious meal, served myself and my son with no problems. Brisket was done perfectly. Probably the best BBQ experience in a long time. Atmosphere is great, store next door for drinks or urbanrest. We are lucky to have this in our community.

Go see BBQ Bob and order everything that you can stuff in your face. Their Q is to notch and their specials are awesome. This is a quintessential local business. Sorry them generously. Oh, you can BYOB and eat there on the picnic tables. We always bring a growler of Dark Side beer.
