J Bird Smoked Meats

Amazing! Simply amazing! We loved this place so much that catered our rehearsal dinner. We were not disappointed, not are we ever disappointed when we come here! Their barbeque is the best around.

I love the food here this place has been such a life saver for me being walking distance from my house. I haven’t gotten sick of it at all. I cant even wrap my head around going anywhere else with jbirds being so close to home. Service is great about 5 out of 6 times.

Great food, bad service. I'd really like to give them five stars, because the food is amazing. The fried chicken, brisket, ribs, beans, Mac n cheese are all killer. But the service is poor. There's normally have five or six people doing waiting, however it'll easily be fifteen minutes later and empty glasses with no sight of a server. It took nearly twenty minutes to get a box, a check and have it returned to me before. There seems to be a lot of socializing going on. It's the one glaring down side of J. Bird's, but it's worth the poor service.

Great food, good beer, laid back atmosphere. First visit and I was very impressed... Wife and I got the family dinner for 2 so we could try a few items. Brisket, pulled pork and fried chicken were all outstanding! Ribs and cornbread were both a bit dry but they had great flavor. The only thing we didn't like was the sausage, but to each his own. A lot of food for 2 people! I highly recommend...

I've had the pleasure of dining at J Bird two times in the past couple of months. If we lived closer it might be a weekly thing. Their Nashville hot chicken is out of this world as are their burnt ends. I highly recommend taking your family, your friends, yourself to J Bird as soon as you can to dine. It is a family friendly atmosphere with great service. Can't wait to go back!
