My fiance' and I have been here twice now. It's essentially become our favorite restaurant. The food is immaculate. The starters, salads, entrees, and desserts are all top notch. I've been to Italy multiple times, and this place is as good or better than anything I've had in Europe. Highly recommended. You'll pay more than at Olive Garden, but it is resonable, and you get what you pay for! Our waitress on both visits was Margaret - she is wonderful! Efficient, knowledgeable, funny, and fun to be around. And oh yeah... Great wine!

I am almost always pleased with my entree when I eat at this restaurant. The salad can be a bit too wilted for my liking. Go with a soup option with your entree if you prefer fresher house salads. Although, this is a tough sacrifice to make considering their garlic parmesan dressing is DELICIOUS. Yes, Salvatore Scallopini has a great house dressing!
The service is great most of the time. The people who work there are usually thoughtful, friendly, kind, and upbeat. The only suggestion I would make...and this goes for all people in the food service industry...do not serve food if you choose to have talons for nails...Looks good on stage and television...but not when it touches my plate of pasta.

The staff is real nice and the food is good. However, its waaaay overpriced and the pasta has a very generic flavor. My wife ordered an antipasto salad ($18) that barely served 2 people. It was ridiculous! Three stars for staff and atmosphere. Two starts for originality. One star for value.

Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend. Traffic on 12 mile can be challenging but well worth it.

Love this restaurant and their menu! We live closer to the Birmingham location, but ever since they changed the menu and got a new makeover, we no longer go there. Thank goodness the owner at this location kept it the way it should be.
