Satay House

Great food and friendly service! It's a family owned restaurant so please don't expect a typical franchise style service. This is one of the best Asian restaurant I have been to in south-east Michigan.

Incredible food. Very unique menu. Everyone is very helpful when it comes to answering questions.

Decor was sort of cafe/fast food. Prices were very reasonable. Satay was delicious as was the Hainanji chicken. Malaysian noodles were surprisingly bland. Overall, it was some good and inexpensive food that made for a nice lunch, but I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a higher end experience.

After spending a few months eating my way through Malaysia and Singapore it was lovely to be able to introduce my family to top notch Malaysian cuisine. Absolutely fantastic food at cheap prices. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Some of the entrees are pretty good but others are not. With each visit, we're finding what we like and we tend to order the same items on following visits. Prices are quite good but portion sizes are proportionately smaller, so you may have to order more than one entree if you're hungry. They don't have enough servers, and they have a lot of take-out orders, so be prepared to wait if the place is crowded. Overall, a decent neighborhood restaurant.
