Shun Ramen & Sushi

This place is new, cozy, clean, and the staff is very friendly. My wife and I ordered the California and Shun rolls to start. They were fantastic! We also ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu soup. I had my spice put on the side so my daughter and I could add it to taste. It was some of the best soup that we ever had!

We were out and about and decided to try to find our local Ramen Shop. We live in Royal Oak there are some there that sounded good but Shun Ramen stuck out because of their reviews and pictures of their food. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a friendly greeting. Which nowadays is a lost art. The food arrived quickly and it was a work of art. The Detroit Roll Sushi Roll was a work of Food Art. The ingredients were all fresh , generous portions and worth their price. The Ramen was Outstanding. The Broth was so fantastic. The beef and pork were fork tender and fell apart. The Customer service was fantastic from beginning to end. I highly recommend you go check this place out it is so worth it. We will be back to eat our way thru your menu.

We visited from out of state and saw the good reviews and wanted to try it. I’m so glad we did. This place has some of the best ramen and sushi we’ve ever had. The staff was super nice as well and super friendly. They also said their chef trained in Japan and we can tell. The place has a “hole in the wall” feel, but if they keep it up, they’ll be needing a bigger place!

Homey and the most friendly experience I've ever had at any restaurant EVER. They were so inviting I literally felt like I was part of their family! I couldn't stop myself from writing this review immediately after leaving the restaurant (currently sitting in the car in the parking lot 😂). The noodles were amazing and authentic, (I'm asian so you know it's real) and since they are only 3 weeks old are still working on their sushi menu. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them and it seems to be very bright! Definitely will be coming back! KIETH IS THE MAN!

Awesome ramen! The broth is to die for! They make everything from scratch.. nothing like those store bought noodles and processed soup packs in some chain restaurants. You can taste the difference. Even my 2 year old finished almost a bowl! Will definitely recommend to friends.
