Red Dog never disappoints. The food is fantastic, service is great, and the beer is cold. What more could you ask for?

I mean, it's a staple of Milford. The bartenders know what they are doing, the servers know what they are doing and the place is a quintessential smallish town bar. The food is better than most bar food and the prices are fair. I highly recommend trying the buffalo tenders, they are full butterflied and fried chicken breasts.

Good experience overall. Few things I need to mention... Note to young wait staff who brings the food out: DO NOT put a hot plate of food in front of my 16 month old daughter! My husband asked for a medium burger, it was def well done. He said no trimmings and they put tons of raw onion on it! He hates onions. I also asked for a side of pickles when I ordered, had to ask again after the food came and didn't get it till I was done with my sandwich. So much for that. I don't understand why it took that long to bring me a small side of something. The waiter, Nick, and another waitress were really friendly and attentive though so it woulda been even less stars if it weren't for their good service.

A week or two ago I took my wife out to the Red Dog and had a great time listening to the band. The food is really good and reasonably priced, and the service is always great. Thanks to Tony, bartender extraordinaire, for always having my favorite bottle of beer open and on the bar before I actually sit down!
