Brentwood Grille

We used to do Happy Hour at the bar when it was Steve and Rocky's so decided to come back and try Brentwood's Happy Hour. No more 1/2 off bottles of wine but house wines for $5. Happy Hour Menu still 1/2 off Had oysters and scallop Rockefellers and both were delicious. Shrimp and crab cakes also really good. Then ordered off the menu the famous Mushroom soup and enjoyed with their usual signature rolls. Margaret is a holdover at the bar and always provides top notch service so it was comforting to see her there. All the favorites from Steve and Rocky days still on the menu. My favorite is the half duck. Don't let the construction hold you back. Definitely worth a trip for Happy Hour from 3:30-6:30 or dine at your leisure

The parking lot looked shabby. They covered the old Steve and Rocky sign with a banner of their new name. However, the food and the service were excellent. We both had the meatloaf entree. The texture of the meatloaf was nice. It has a crispiness around the edges. The vegetables were well seasoned and had just the right amount of oil. All the entrées were very inexpensive. However, my old fashioned costs $17.50, which is a rip off.

This place is lovely! I went with my partner on a cold and rainy Saturday. We did make a reservation ahead of time and dressed formally. We didn't have to wait; we were promptly seated, served menus, drinks, and bread. Additionally, throughout the night we did not have to ask for a refill. Seating is tight, but wide enough to stretch your arms comfortably.

The food is my absolute favorite. They kept some of the classics, like the Chicken Cordon Bleu & the mushroom soup. We tried the crispy pork and the roasted duck dinner. We definitely took home leftovers, and it's well worth the price.

Date night with my wife was excellent. The fried calamari & pork belly appetizers are a must. Cesar & Wedge Salads were perfect. And for entrees we had the roasted acorn squash and BBQ Ribs. Everything was delicious. Definitely planning a dinner with friends in the near future and recommend!

I had a wonderful dinner last night. I highly recommend the fish taco appetizer. The piece of fish was so crispy and light. Next time I would order two as my main course. The sea scallops and pasta entree was delicious - probably the most tender scallops I’ve had in awhile. The service was excellent too - the food came out at a perfect pace and our water glasses were refilled without asking. We didn’t feel rushed - it was a very relaxing experience.
