Shiro Restaurant

I took my wife to Shiro in Novi for lunch today and I must say I was blown away by their inventive and creative sushi rolls. Smoked pomegranate sauce? Home made coconut shrimp? A chard basil reduction? All great in my book! Worth the hour drive from Lansing!

Yum Yum! Great atmosphere for a date night. Feeling of a great home environment. Teriyaki Salmon was amazing. Mashed potatoes were delicious. Well priced sushi rolls. We will be back!!

If you're into creative sushi rolls THIS is the place for you. We tried Surf and Turf, Samba, and Salmon on the Beach. They were all amazing, especially the first two. The interior and feel of the place is relaxing but clearly falls under fine dining, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. You won't regret a visit.

Excellent service and great food. Everything is fresh and delicious, and beautifully presented. My daughter loves sushi, and raves about it here. This restaurant used to be a house--in its day it was a mansion. I love historical buildings, and wanting to see the inside was the reason for my first visit. The food and service is the reason we return.

This restaurant appears to have been a beautiful mansion years ago. The staircase is gorgeous. Unfortunately it houses a restaurant that has potential but delivers like a mid range chain. It was so loud you had to yell at each other, food was good but overpriced. The service had the feel of a diner. The owners need to just step it up a bit and they could have a real place to dine.
