Col's Family Restaurant

The food was delicious and reasonably priced; it’s what you would expect from a diner. They have a quaint atmosphere. There is onsite parking.

Very good home cooked food at great prices. Definitely my go to place when I'm working in the Royal Oak area.

First time here, the food was good, I'd go back again. I had the Col's grilled chicken pita with fries, both were very good. The staff was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. No food pictures, I ate it too fast, go see for yourself!

The breakfast food was delicious and presented well on the plates. Like the square plates. The best part was friendly banter between the customers and the staff. It was obvious they were regulars but they invited me into their conversations with ease. I plan to return often....and maybe everyone will know my name too. Cheers!

This place never disappoints! Always hits the spot, and the service in my experience as always been pleasant/on point. I believe the place has one of the best French onion soups in the Metro Detroit area. That alone justifies my business. One criticism is their menu is a bit all over the place in regards to selection, but that doesn’t make or break the place. High recommend.
