Food was good, and lots of it. Lot easier to eat off the bowl than the wrap. The gyro meat was pre-sliced so it was a little dry.
Fair, quick work lunch passable. Was hoping for a
New Greek fare favorite. It felt/taste more chain than authentic Greek. I may try again with the gals during lunch break. Always like to give places a couple of try’s before making final decisions.
I hadn’t been in for a little while and I’m left wondering why not. I stopped in during a slower time and with most “faster food” restaurants you could expect less than fresh ingredients during a slow time (ever had a slab of “burger” past its prime?). NOT HERE. Not only were all the veggies crisp and delicious, what I really didn’t expect was to have my Gyro meat fired up and shaved just for my Gyro. Slow times be damned, these guys/gals are committed to the freshness! The restaurant was clean (and even being made cleaner while I sat), the food was delicious, and the cashier even made a recommendation I truly appreciated (it was for a cup for water after I had declined a beverage). Anyways, back to my trip from Duggan’s to the Chalet...what a truly pleasant stop along the way!
Gyros are delicious and you can pick different styles. The zesty and traditional styles are great. The pita chips are really good too. Get tzatziki to dip your pita chips in. Lemon rice soup is pretty tasty too. Can't go wrong with anything here though
