Sonic Drive-In

***Edit*** The last two times I went the frozen limeade was EXTREMELY syrupy sweet. So much so it wasn't drinkable, nor was it frozen. I don't know if they changed the way they do things or just made a mistake. Just be aware.***

I go here primarily for drinks. Hands down they make the best. If you can't find what you want or something you like here, look inward and examine your life! lol. ;) One of the things I like especially is how they will walk out if you are in the drive thru and hand deliver your drink. So leave room between you and the car in front of you so you can pull out. I also try to pay cash when they do this and tell them to keep the change. Happy hour drinks are great. Yesterday my frozen limeade was $1.64 and had a real lime wedge in it. Whenever I order food it takes a little time but it is always made fresh. And they have tater tots! Yummy!

The place was packed at 11pm but the lines moved fast. The guy who took our order was patient and took time to ensure he answered all of our questions accurately as we had a group of 1st timers. All of our orders were correct and delicious. Will definitely return.

Went for a quick bite with a friend. The food was good. My only concern was the card reader on the ordering device did not work so the person who brought the food out took the credit card back to building to process the payment. It made me very nervous but it turned out well.

If you like chewing ice get to this Sonic. Buy a bag of their ice for $1.59.
HUGE BAG ! It's very special in the sense that it's "airy" soft ice in small but not tiny nuggets! It's the most satisfying ice I've ever come across and I guess they have quite a following around the nation.
They aren't surprised when you order a bag of ice. Anyway , just spreading the word! Happy crunching!
I just got a batch today and it is PERFECT. Clean taste. No aftertaste. Perfect texture. LOVE IT !
