So, you're eating in the zoo. Congratulations, you're a captive audience. Might as well eat here. Option 2 is Buddy's after all, and nobody needs that while hiking 3 miles in a zoo in the heat.
Seating is clean. Food is made quickly. Staff is friendly. AC is welcome.
The food is expensive obviously, but again. You just get to deal. Mac and cheese is pretty decent though pulled chicken pairs oddly. Buy the regular fries and skip the falafel. If it needs mayo to taste tolerable... do I need to clarify?
Much faster moving than the old food court at the zoo. Smaller menu, more organized and better seating. The in/out was a bit rough but otherwise it was the best experience eating at the zoo I've had.
Place could have been cleaner, but it was a busy day so it's possible we came in just before they could send someone out to clean off the tables and chairs. However, the food is overpriced. Got a burger, small fries, small brownie and a small fountain drink - for just over 20$ - and the burger was slightly burnt on one side. No free refills either, but if you buy a souvenir cup you get discounted refills. Manager was the one taking my order, she was super friendly, and its nice to see a manager that will step up to help when needed.
