The Lyon Cantina

Let me just preface with this: I LOVE Mexican food! Soooo happy we have this spot in South Lyon! This said, the meat can be a bit well done at times and the cheese on the burritos is always unmelted when I get takeout which is off putting. However; when I eat there, I am always stuffed to the brim and so satisfied with my meal. Love this place, love this food! If you've managed to save some room after your meal, do NOT be afraid to splurge for their fried ice cream. Such a quality meal served by quality staff!

Excellent local Mexican food! Good portions for your money and friendly staff. Their steak fajitas for two is amazing!

This is a good Mexican restaurant. Yesterday I ordered a combination plate with a cheese enchilada, a beef soft taco, refried beans, and rice for $11. The food was made with the freshest ingredients. Even the corn chips came with freshly made salsa. They have a nice selection of beer, both on tap and in bottles. I got a mug of Corona Premium for $5.
My wife just said she did not like the Ladies Room. She said it was dark and dirty. In fact, she said that if she had gone into it before we ate, we would have left without ordering.

Overall they do a very good job. Service is attentive and timely. Chips are great, salsa is good, not great. I really love the Tres Steak Tacos, which are outstanding. The Enchilada Taco is good not great. Excellent margaritas.
