Thank the owner for opening so close to my work. The inside is small but quaint; not too small. I've ordered a few different things from here and they were really good. My favorite is the Detroit River Roll - I crave it all the time! It's a little pricey which is why I don't order it a lot. However, you do get a fair amount of sushi for the price so no real complaint about the price; just doesn't always fit into my budget. Highly recommend!!
If you love Nobel fish you'll absolutely adore this restaurant. The quality of the fish makes this place stand out compared to every single sushi place in metro Detroit. You're not going to get a better sushi experience unless you go to the west coast. Bruce, who is the owner exudes passion for Japanese cuisine. I was blown away by his menu options, which included lotus root, a staple of true Japanese diet. The cocktails are fantastic and so are the sushi donuts. They are not a gimmick like I thought, they were incredible. This was the best sushi experience I've had in the United States.
This place is seriously a vibe! Everything from music to lighting was on point. A clean place to eat, and the food was fantastic. The service is untouchable. If you’re looking for a modern twist on a traditional sushi restaurant, this is the place.
A fun and inviting sushi place in the suburbs?! Yes, it's true. Great energy, great drinks, very well prepared sushi rolls, sides, and sushi donuts. Worth a first visit, and a second, and a third until you loose count because the food is so good and it's such a good time. They have takeout and I suspect as popularity builds given the small space that will have to be the backup dining option for many. Pro tip - go visit before summer hits and the word really gets out.
