Great place with surprising selection. This restaurant has a great lunch selection and their giant taco is delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The dinner menu looked incredible but it is served after 4 so we did not get a chance to try it. If the lunch is any indication, I am sure that the dinner is delicious as well.
First time visiting the tipsy bear. A very unexpected menu. Great choices on the menu food was superb staff excellent. Will return. If you r looking for something different go to the Tipsy Bear.
We are so happy we found this hidden gem. The chef, Fred, really knows his art. The food was absolutely delightful. Remarkably delicious flavors and quality. We especially loved the kabobs and sushi tuna. Oh, and the green onion soup was phenomenal. Not only was everything delicious, but was reasonably priced, as well. Big shout out to the owners and staff for making our dining experience so pleasant. We'll be back!
The Tipsy Bear is a lot nicer than expected! I expected a typical bar, but it's actually a nice restaurant with fantastic service. The wine selection is enormous, the beer selection is impressive, and the food is delicious with beautiful plating and presentation. I'm withholding a star because I was a little disappointed with portion size, but maybe that's not fair, because the prices are more than reasonable. Next time, I'll get an appetizer before my entree. ????
Happened upon this restaurant on our way to Detroit. And what a GREAT accident. It's just an unassuming little restaurant with a HUGE menu. There are bear paintings covering the walls and a carved wooden bear statue - all done by the owner/chef. We even got to meet him! This place was packed on a Thursday night, but we managed to get seated quickly at a high top in the bar area. We settled on a chicken gyro & a burger. And wow, were both delicious. The burger was one of the best I've had in quite some time & the gyro was amazing. The tzatziki sauce is made in house and has a yummy dill flavor. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back!
