Great service! I had the scramble skillet. I would prefer some melted shredded cheese on top instead of a cheese sauce. Otherwise, a good breakfast.

Me, my grandpa and little cousin always come here ! My grandma always used to get broccoli poppers from here so we come from waters meet just for them! The cheeseburgers are SO good! And my brother really liked the steak burger . Excellent service :)

To be fair I grew up with this spectacular place. That being said, the BEST home-cooked food, wonderful service and if you don't try the pie, you don't deserve to go, lol. Truly a hometown favorite.

We have been stopping into Char's for a few years. I have found that it is a wonderful stop. The waitresses are super friendly and always on top of things. You never need to ask for your cup to be filled or plates to be cleaned from the table. Food, wow home cooking at its best. Try the Pie! Always get dessert, their pie is the best. I had custard pie the last time a touch of cinnamon added and the best crust. My favorite breakfast is their County Fried Steak. Stop in, enjoy a great meal and friendly atmosphere.

First off, the staff is super friendly. Makes you feel at home. We were just travelling through and seen the great reviews so we had to check it out.. very happy we did. I had a homemade tomato Mac soup and a Philly steak. Both were delicious. Hubby has a cheeseburger and fries and enjoyed that as well.
