Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Food is great. Staff is a little inexperienced, so I bet after a year or so this location will be moving a lot more efficiently. Prices are decent, especially good for barbecue. Ribs are probably the best meat on the menu, but nothing was bad. Sides were standard but well prepared. Layout is a little strange and the location is difficult to get in and out of because of Baldwin.

Recommended.

The food here is delicious. They have a great selection of sides as well. I have been here a few times now and tried a little of everything. For lunches I really like their stacks as they are everything in one plate. If you like barbecue you will like this place.

Great food. Better than the Rockford store. Chicken breast is out of this world. Wife loves the okra and i love the 3 meat meal. Keep up the great work

Food was very good and restaurant is clean. Staff very nice. Music was kinda loud. Made a slight error with my order, but were quick and courteous with a fix.

We ordered takeout for dinner from here last night because we live right down the road and have been wanting to try it! I was unfortunately a little disappointed. The food we did get tasted great, but we had ordered the family meal with two meats and three sides. They were out of the first meats we ordered, which was understandable because we ordered later in the evening. We subbed it out, no biggie. When my husband got home I was SUPER disappointed to see that they forgot to give us the BBQ sauce that we ordered, since that’s kind of the theme. I had subbed Texas toast for dinner rolls because I really don’t like dinner rolls, and when I opened the container I was disappointed again to find that they missed that sub and we got dinner rolls. We used BBQ sauce that we had at home and moved on because we didn’t want to go back for sauce and bread, but then half way into our food I realized that they left out one of the sides that we had ordered as well. Honestly, I wouldn’t order pickup here again. I probably would stop in to grab a bite though, the Mac and cheese was awesome and the jalapeño cheddar kielbasa was amazing. Brisket was alright, I’m sure it’s great with the sauce it’s served with. Being newer I’m sure the kinks will get worked out with order accuracy.
