Very large breakfasts but they can be split. This place gets very busy very Early. The dutch breakfast special was a great combo of all breakfast. I would highly recommend

Tip: we were there before 7:30 am and had to wait for a table. Greatest thing was that we could get a cup of coffee from the bakery counter while we waited! Once we were seated, we had a wonderful server, Kenya. I had the chicken and waffles, my boyfriend had challah French toast with strawberries (with fresh whipped cream). Both were spectacular! We also had a side of corned beef hash and it was the best we’ve ever tasted. Absolute gem of a restaurant.

Excellent food with some great service. Biggest problem here is having to choose what to get. The menu provides breakfast and lunch items, so I had the New Amsterdam omelet filled with avocado, cherry tomatoes, bacon and covered with and filled with Vermont cheddar cheese. My wife had the Blue Raspberry Bliss Cakes. Excellent food prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food.

Generally speaking Dutch anything doesn't scream excitement which is not necessarily always a bad thing, if that is the case however Deboer's would be a strong dissenting retort. American culture owes much of our best traditions and ways to the Dutch who were one of the first cultures to begin our melting pot, and some of the best parts of living in west Michigan are due to heavy Dutch influence. Also generally speaking Dutch baked goods are often one of the gold standards. This being true Deboer's is a standout in the gold standard category in every way. Whether it's baked goods or Dutch breakfast cuisine you seek they've got you covered. The traditional plus it's menu is mixed with a heavy Hispanic influence amongst others. Saying it's simply Dutch doesn't sum it up. While it's roots are Dutch the final product is amazing and simply the best breakfast in west Michigan. The eggs Benedict are excellent but then again literally EVERYTHING is and try the windmill coffee. Five stars doesn't do it. If you're going to go especially weekends and during the summer which is our busy season in west Michigan show up early because there will be a wait, sometimes very long ones. Show up early, call ahead for the landscape. It's popular for a reason.

Food was very good. Prices were very reasonable for the portion size in fact better than average, I felt.

4 years later and this place is still one of my favorite places. The food is so good, service is quick and bakery is at the top of the list. Get the chocolate espresso donut you all be amazed.
