Waverly Stone Gastropub

We went here with friends and it was delicious! Very friendly staff and fast service, even with a full house. Both my husband and I had the Okonomiyaki and it was phenomenal! The Asian-fusion menu is a nice change of pace from the bar-type food that has a strong presence in downtown Holland.

Waverly Stone definitely stands out among the other pubs/restaurants in Holland. The staff is extremely friendly, including the chefs (the sous chef actually came out to talk to answer a few questions about their cooking philosophy, how a few of the dishes were prepared, and some of their future menu items). The menu features very unique dishes in addition to more common foods with a unique twist. One of my favorite aspects of the restaurant is that the chefs rarely cook with butter (usually using olive or canola oil instead) - something highly desirable for those with dairy sensitivities/allergies or for those who simply dislike the taste of butter. Overall, if you're looking for a place with a unique, meticulously planned menu, perfectly prepared food, and a friendly staff, Waverly Stone is perfect for you.

Just has lunch here and absolutely loved it!! I was so impressed by the menu. Lots if unique and fun dishes to try. It looks like the just finished some renovations. Very clean and trendy spot right downtown Holland. I would highly recommend and or go again sometime.

Went there for lunch on a Saturday and the staff was so attentive and full of care, the food was so delicious and unique, we came back for a wonderful Sunday brunch accompanied by some excellent live jazz. Though we met some new faces on staff on Sunday, we found the same great food and courteous, loving, and attentive service. We moved to Michigan from northern California, and we have found it somewhat difficult to find delicious food with vegetables appropriately complementing the meats. But the chef here really seems to know what he's doing. We may have found our new favorite place.

Went here on a date with my wife. The restaurant was empty which is undeserved. The staff was informative and helpful and the food was very good. I would highly recommend stopping by and giving it a try. We will definitely go back. Unique and delicious food this isn't a typical American food joint but also isn't pretentious or "weird". Just very good interesting food.
