Sonder Eatery

Yum! The food was original and service was very good. We will definitely be going back. The flat iron steak was delicious. I will be going back for that specifically! Didn’t give it 5 stars because the price was a little steep for the portion size!

This place is a hidden gem. Very impressed with the food and the service. One of the best restaurants in West Michigan.

Good recipes, but the execution could be better. The price is a little high for the quality, especially compared to grand rapids. I probably wouldn't make the drive out again if presented with the opportunity. They need one or two more servers on a shift. Three is not enough.

I have always been a proud resident of Hudsonville, and the opening of Sonder Eatery in my hometown raised that level of pride even higher. The food and drinks here are wonderful, and I enjoy meeting vendors and clients at Sonder to enjoy a drink while discussing business. Now while I do stand by my rating of 5-stars, I do have one complaint that I need to get off my chest. Sonder used to make a mixed drink called the Smokey Robinson that was amazing! I was immediately hooked, and I always looked forward to my next opportunity to meet someone at Sonder so I could enjoy another Smokey Robinson. A few months ago the Sonder menu dropped it, but I was pretty sure I could still ask them to make it for me. Seems reasonable, right? NOPE! The waitress just apologized and said it was no longer available. If the owner or a general manager reads this review, I am begging you to bring back the Smokey Robinson! You can't get your customers hooked on something so amazing and then rip it away from us! Make that available again and I will spread the word and get folks in there to enjoy this wonderful drink with me. :-)

What a cool place. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff are wonderful. You can watch the chef prepare your food in the open kitchen. They have a huge chalk board listing where the food you're eating came from, almost all locally.
I had a steak salad that was perfect.

No complaints about anything except that I wish I lived closer.

I can't wait to come back.
