Great lakes family restaurant

We had a large group from Wednesday until Monday staying in the area. We had breakfast, lunch and some dinners around town. Some were very large to accommodate such a large group (60). Unfortunately we found Great Lakes family restaurant on our last night. They had the best food hands down!!!!! If your traveling on 127 take the M-55 exit head east less than a quarter mile off the freeway. Large

Food portions are very generous, and the waitstaff are great. Food was typical diner food, with lots of options.

Great food and service. Clean with a lot of natural light.

I really liked most of the food, and there was a lot of food at a great price. The only thing I did not like was the chili. Not exactly sure what it was, but it was certainly not chili. It was more like flour thickened tomato soup (lumpy) with a few beans added - gross. The rest of the food was pretty good though, and good service.

Great food, large portions, reasonable cost. Service was also good. It is a new location so they are still working out a few bugs but all in all great placed.
