Rite Spot

Heard about this place first time at the Black Arts Festival last year when home visiting my folks. Was happy to see their store front when driving through the area. Wow, is all I can say. Didn't feel bad at all about stuffing my face with tacos AND fried whiting. Had leftovers for later.

The spot is small. Lunch time was busy for this popular restaurant. The wait was worth it. Plenty of parking during our day time visit. Will definitely become a regular when eating out locally.

Best tacos in town. It is becoming a weekly fix for me during lunch time.

Exceptional service. Delicious food. Probably one of the CLEANEST restaurants I’ve ever patronized. I ate the fried flour taco with beef. I poured their special hot sauce on them, and it was an instant satisfactory taste. I also tried the philly steak sandwich with chicken. It was good, but it wasn’t a traditional philly with hoagie bread. They use Texas toast instead. Again, it was delicious. I also tried their chocolate chip cookies. They were crunchy and delicious. Our sever was attentive and friendly. The restroom, seating area, and kitchen were pristine — arguably the cleanest public restroom I’ve ever used. The next time I’m in town, I’ll be dining here again.
