Matador's Pizza and Take Out

Our pizza and antipasto were delicious , we enjoyed them very much!!!! Highly recommend checking out this gem in the small town of Byron

If you are ordering an item here and are under any time constraints at all, make sure that when you come in to pick up your order, you insist on paying only when your order is ready. I placed an order for a pizza by phone last evening (fri) and was told it would be c. 25 mins. I came in to pick up the item about 35 mins later, paid for it as soon as i came in, then proceeded to wait another 25 mins until the pizza was ready. Made me very late for a subsequent function. In total, from call to order until pizza was ready was an hour. If i had known this ahead of time, never would have placed the order. Tell them you’ll pay when order is ready! Pizza was good, not spectacular. Maybe because they were training new staff.

Great pizza! It's a medium thick crust and it's crunchy on the bottom while soft like bread on the top. It's a perfect pizza in between thin and thick crust. Very good food at Matadors.

Ham and bacon pizza was great! BLT pizza was not good at all. Dry, barely any mayonnaise, tomato & lettuce cut so large my kids called it a salad when they looked at it. Due to lack of mayo and huge veg cuts the tomato and lettuce just kept falling off. Ended up eating dry bacon pizza and a salad. Staff very friendly as always though!

We just moved to the area a year ago and until a couple weeks ago never knew this place existed. We love pizza and order it once a week, and always used Hungry Howies because we thought it was our only option. Their food is good but can't compare to Matador's. Their prices are good, service is great, and their pizza is some of the best I've ever had. This is definitely my new go to place for pizza.
