Bird Dog

The experience we had at bird dog was awesome!! We went on a recommendation from a friend for a great food experience on a date night out. We had drinks, appetizers and meals and couldn’t be happier. Our service and meals were fantastic. We had read reviews and yes the restaurant is small and there is some noise but it’s all happy noise (people talking, staff working together, light background music). The decor is simple keeping the food experience as the “main event”. Food is prepared fresh, drinks were top shelf. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience great. We love “small menu” dining and Bird Dog will definitely be a place we come back too!!! Thank you!

This might be the best restaurant around here. The attention to detail for the food and the taste are extraordinary. We sat at the cafe bar, and the cook, server and owner were very engaging and friendly. I will gladly drive 20min from Portage to visit here regularly.

My husband and I went last night for dinner. We have the Filet and Risotto I want to say it was FANTASTIC. everything we had was wonderful and full of flavor. The cheesecake we took home was the best I have ever had!! We for sure will be going back and are spreading the word about how great the food and service was.
