Laura's Little Burger Joint

Pay no mind to the haters. If someone can't spell, use correct grammar, or form an understandable sentence, they obviously can't be trusted to review a burger joint. Laura's Little Burger Joint is a great place to eat. At peak times, you may have to wait several minutes for your order to be ready. However, it is worth the wait. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. The employees are friendly and efficient. There are no inside dining accommodations, just a few picnic tables outside. There is a drive-through, though I always use the walk-up window. It is a bit out of the way but it's a good value and the food is delicious.

Expect to wait a little bit but it is soooo worth the wait. They are made to order so you don’t get it in three minutes. So so good. I make sure to make an effort to go there at least twice every summer I’m up in Michigan. Theres a lake right down the road that makes a great place to picnic at! (Lake of the Woods)

This place has definitely gone downhill in the last couple of years. My husband and I make a trip out there once a year for the last 7 years. We were there this past weekend and our burgers had no taste, the buns were very soggy and fell apart quickly. I ordered an olive burger and got a cheese burger instead. They weren't busy at all so it surprised us that they screwed up our order. Basically their burgers were the best about 2 or 3 years ago........Burgers were way better when the previous owner ran it.

Super nice people! I pulled in because I got a flat tire. Not only did they supply me with a spirit boosting root beer float and some tasty fried mushrooms, they gave me ride into town to get some fix-a-flat.

This is a little Hamburg stand...no inside seating, but they do have picnic tables outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. And they have the best burgers on the planet. "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives" even did a TV episode on Laura's. If you like burgers, you gotta try Laura's.
