Smokehouse 52 BBQ - Chelsea

It's like I get amnesia every time someone suggests grabbing a bite to eat from Smokehouse 52. The past few times have always been hit or miss in terms of the consistent food quality. This time, I thought I would play it safe and get some loaded chili bowls to go. Check out these pictures.

Maybe they have a standard portion size that does not match up with the size of their to-go cups. It tasted great, but c'mon man for $8 you'd think you could at least fill the dang container.

Yum! We always have a great experience here. I've had the ribs and they're pretty great, but if you have not tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, you are seriously missing out. One of my favorite sandwiches in the area - its so good! Lots of spice! Wide variety of items, love that they provide so many BBQ sauce options on the table for you to choose. Jiffy Cornbread on the side is also awesome. Great for families with a solid kid's menu. Service is consistently decent - never had a problem with friendliness or efficiency. We'll be back again soon.

Smokehouse has a great menu with rotating seasonal specials. The food is always good and they have a great selection of drinks. Always busy for lunch and dinner, so there’s often a short wait. Not a soft surface in the place so it’s also quite noisy, which can be bothersome for some people. The naked wings with garlic-Parmesan dip are amazing, and the Pig Mac is to die for!

A hidden gem. I loved everything about this place! It was able to accommodate a large group with a bit of notice. The food was plentiful and scrumptious! Choose from salads, burgers, smoked ribs, chicken, or brisket, to a sampler platter my husband couldn't tackle! Great service too.

We really enjoy this relaxed BBQ place right on Main Street. They have a big menu, multiple sauces, and lots of gluten free options including gluten free buns. They also have a kids menu, deserts, a bar, and a fun atmosphere. It can get really busy on weekend dinner times. There is more parking behind the shops to the west, as well as on street spots if you can find one.
