“Already been in twice since they opened. Hector is just the nicest guy and they are serving some of the best Mexican/Central American food in the area right now. The Guatemalan-style tamales are maybe the best tamales I've had in SE Michigan. They're wrapped in banana/plantain leaf, huge and the masa is so soft and flavorful. Watch out for the bones in the chicken tamal (you get a whole leg section inside), but they are truly wonderful. Got the shrimp tacos on my most recent visit and they might be the best tacos I've ever had in Ypsi. They are CASH ONLY for now, so make sure you hit up the ATM if you're low, but everything is really affordable. Easily the most authentic and flavorful food for the money in Ypsi right now.”

“It was fine, nothing spectacular but at least the ingredients tasted fresh. Was a little disappointed at the seemingly rushed feeling the pizza was made - cheese did not cover all of the sauce and left at least inch and half of crust on pizza and bread. The sauce is a little sweet for my taste, especially because the cheese wasnt salty enough to balance it. I wouldnt write them off and I would try again, but my first order left something to be desired.”

“This place was ok, glad it allowed my puppy but being busy shouldn't mean unfriendly or rude. I ordered coffee and was there a while and needed a cup of water, I was pretty much told no due to busy orders. I am all for can you give us 5 min or come back in a few. I was ended up given water but it was hot, so I'm unsure what was the purpose. Other than that my pup was given a pup top and the water looked liked it was contaminated.”

“I happened to notice the restaurant as I sat at an intersection and decided to try it with my son. There were at least 9 different slider options. I tried a burger and a grilled spicy chicken. The burger was flavorful and juicy. I prefer mustard to ketchup and there no problem switching it. And I was surprised to find the chicken was juicy and thoroughly cooked. I wasn't expecting it to be very spicy based upon on other vendors, but was surprised when it was spicy with flavor. I gave a compliment to one of the staff. She said they had been open a month and they cut all the vegetables fresh. It made a difference. Then I ran I to the cook getting a drink and he was appreciative of the compliment and said he was trying hard to make them right. I told him he was doing well and to keep it up. I will have to return here to try some of the other options.”

“If I could give it more stars I would. We went for the dinner drag show. We planned on staying for one set and stayed for 3 hours. The show was a 10 out of 10 as was the food. All the staff we encountered were super cool 😎 Dean the bartender helped us a lot when we went there for first time. He has a great knowledge about their whiskey. Such a cool guy to have fun conversations with. There are decent bar food selections too. My favorite ones are Shrimp Salad Sliders and Pimento Cheese with Warm Pita.
