B. Boomers Bar & Grille

Neat little bar that still does live rock music. Nothing fancy: a wrap around bar, a few booths and tables, smallish dance floor, but they make the most of all of it.

There are some really good cover bands (mostly Fri/Sat night, but I would check their website or call) and really good sound to go with it.
Some smaller bars like this just have the bands "play out" with no mixing board and you kind of get what you get. But they have a board here so you can really hear these rock songs live like they're supposed to be heard. Add in some really good local musicians and you have a good thing. I saw a band called "Category Five" on a Friday and they were excellent. And if you're feeling it no one is shy or will judge you for getting to the dance floor!

The parking lot can fill up quickly, but there is parking on the street, too, and it all feels pretty safe around there.

I gave these guys 5 stars because I really like the stand they take for quality live rock and roll. Oh, and did I add, there is no cover? (That could be different when they have tribute bands, but I've never seen one on a Friday or Saturday I've been there). I saw people getting pizza there so I assume they serve other bar food, too. All in all, a great little place that packs a rock and roll punch!

Good food once it arrived. Two weeks in a row where they had one wait staffer for about 50 people. I thought $3.50 for a 12-ounce Stroh's is ridiculously overpriced. Slow service is a business killer.

The bartender Autumn did a great job of taking care of us. Like a few others mentioned, it took a while for the food to get to us but it was very good food. The curly fries were perfect and the chicken grinder was very good as well. My fiancee enjoyed the regular pizza she ordered. BUT we both loved the stuffed cheese bread. Definitely worth coming back!
